Birkirkara bring in midfielder Acheampong

Birkirkara FC have announced the signing of midfielder Geoffrey Acheampong.

The Ghana midfielder has put pen to paper on a one-year deal and has already teamed up with Stefano De Angelis squad ahead of their commitments in the UEFA Conference League.

“Birkirkara FC is delighted to welcome Geoffrey Acheampong to the Club!,” the club said in a statement.

“The 28-year-old Ghanaian midfielder joins us from Sliema Wanderers, where he impressed with his technical flair, versatility, and leadership on the pitch. Recognized in the Maltese Premier League for his standout performances, Geoffrey brings experience, creativity, and a winning mentality to our midfield.”

On his part, Acheampong told the club’s social media of his excitement following his move to Birkirkara.

“I’m excited to join Birkirkara FC, a club with a proud history and great ambition,” Acheampong said.

“I look forward to giving my all, connecting with the fans, and helping the team achieve success this season.”
