Antoine Semenyo signs new Bournemouth contract

AFC Bournemouth announced that Antoine Semenyo has signed a new long-term contract with the club, which runs until the summer of 2030.

The 25-year-old Ghana international has been a key figure at Vitality Stadium since joining from Bristol City in January 2023.

Semenyo enjoyed a standout 2024/2025 season, notching 13 goals and seven assists in all competitions as the club achieved a record points tally in the Premier League (56) and attainted its joint-highest finish (ninth).

Following the news, Bournemouth’s President of Football Operations, Tiago Pinto, shared his delight: “Antoine has been crucial to the club’s progress and is a key member of the project here at Vitality Stadium.

“We have a great relationship with Antoine and we’re looking forward to continuing that as we hope to build on a record-breaking season. His commitment to the club matches our ambition and I’m excited to see what can be achieved as we prepare for the new campaign.”

Speaking on his new deal, Semenyo also commented: “I’ve grown so much at the club, both on and off the pitch, and I’m really happy to have signed ahead of returning for pre-season.

“From the fans to the staff and my teammates, I can’t speak highly enough of the people around the club. It’s a great place to be and I’m excited to get back to Bournemouth and continue the hard work with the new season just around the corner.”  

Semenyo currently has 89 appearances for the Cherries in all competitions, with 22 goals and ten assists to his name. He’ll link back up with Andoni Iraola’s squad in the coming week as the team return for pre-season.
