Marsaxlokk have made an important summer transfer signing after announcing the arrival of Malta defender Enrico Pepe.
Pepe, 35, will bring a huge wealth of experience to the club given his 29 caps for Malta and his several seasons in the domestic game.
He is at the back of a spell at Gżira United with whom he played 22 matches. In addition, Pepe made 116 appearances for Birkirkara, 87 for Floriana and 27 for Ħamrun Spartans.
Marsaxlokk have also signed midfielder Triston Caruana, who last season was on the books of Balzan.
The former Malta midfielder, 11 caps, is also an experienced addition to the club with his over 300 appearances in the top-flight.
In other news, Tarxien Rainbows signed midfielder Kwasi Donsu from Ghana.
The 29-year-old has already played in Malta, having featured for Sirens and Mġarr United.
Meanwhile, Żabbar St. Patrick signed two players in 19-year-old forward Nicholas Agius from Birkirkara (14 appearances last season) and former Pieta’ Hotspurs captain Zean Leonardi (over 100 appearances for the club, still 22).
