Trustin Farrugia Cann takes charge of Benghazi derby in Libyan cup quarters

Maltese referee Trustin Carrugia Cann was picked to take charge of the Benghazi derby between Al-Hilal and Al-Ahly in the Libyan Cup quarter-finals, on Friday.

The Maltese official was aided by Luke Portelli, Mitchell Scerri and Slobodan Petrovic – on his first international appointment.

The match was played at the Benina Stadium, in Benghazi, with Al-Ahly making it to the semi-finals after winning 4-2 following a penalty shoot-out.
