Marsaxlokk have announced the signing of Albanian attacking midfielder Redon Mihana.
The 26-year-old was released from Malta champions Ħamrun Spartans last week and the southerners moved quickly to snap up his services for the upcoming season.
“We are excited to confirm that Redon Mihana has officially joined Marsaxlokk FC!,” the club said in a statement.
“A talented and dynamic midfielder, Redon brings creativity, vision, and hard work to our squad. His addition strengthens our team as we look ahead to an ambitious season.
“Welcome to Marsaxlokk, Redon!”
Mihana arrived in Maltese football during the January transfer window when he joined Ħamrun Spartans
The talented forward played a key role in the Spartans’ pursuit of their 11th Premier League title.
Mihana was one of two overseas players who were released by the Spartans in the past week.
The Malta champions also agreed with Niger winger Kairou Amoustapha to go their separate ways.
The speedy winger has been out since March last year after suffering a serious knee injury and is currently working hard to finalise his recovery.
