Malta will host the inaugural event of Inter The Opus World Tour on July 17, offering local Nerazzurri supporters, football enthusiasts, collectors and indeed all sports fans a unique opportunity to discover this extraordinary publishing project.
Inter The Opus is a collection of the Greatest Moments told in the world-famous Opus brand celebrating the glorious history of FC Internazionale Milano, one of Italy’s most successful clubs and one of the world’s most widely supported teams.
It represents the fulfilment of a lifelong dream for Tony Meilak and his son Warren, two passionate local Inter supporters who were the investors and the driving force behind this project.
Indeed, the strong support enjoyed by Inter in Malta is expected to make the launch of Inter The Opus a memorable occasion, with a Gala Dinner taking place on July 17 at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Golden Sands.
The event comes on the back of Inter’s remarkable Serie A and Coppa Italia double-winning campaign, making the launch of Inter The Opus even more significant.
A dedicated section of the Opus publication pays homage to the club’s latest triumphs, bringing to life the defining moments of an unforgettable season for Nerazzurri supporters.
Inter The Opus is a monumental celebration of FC Internazionale Milano – an officially commissioned collector’s publication capturing the passion, triumphs and cultural legacy of one of football’s most iconic clubs,” said Karl Fowler, CEO of Opus.
“Over the past year, our creative team has worked closely with Inter historians, the custodians of the club’s archives and club officials. Together, they have explored the depths of Inter’s historic vaults, uncovering rare archival treasures, previously unseen photographs and extraordinary documents that have never been made public.
“It is estimated that more than 60 per cent of the content featured in Inter The Opus has never previously been published.”
THREE EDITIONS
The collection comprises three Opus editions – The 118 Marquee edition, The Classic edition and The Midi edition – each meticulously designed and crafted to honour Inter’s legacy through exceptional scale, design and storytelling.
The Marquee and Classic editions are presented on a giant scale – each weighing 32 kilos and over a metre wide when opened, spread over 800 pages.
The 118 Marquee edition is adorned with a sterling silver and 24 carat gold-plated Inter crest on the hand-bound cover. It is also the largest book ever created for an Italian football club.

Baresi Guest of Honour
Adding further prestige to the occasion, Inter legend Giuseppe Baresi will be the guest of honour at the Malta launch dinner.
A former club captain, Baresi made more than 550 appearances for the Nerazzurri during an illustrious career, winning two Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia trophies, the UEFA Cup and the Italian Super Cup. He also made 18 appearances for Italy. Baresi will be sharing his memories with the guests on the night which will include a Q&A session.

Guests on the evening will also have the opportunity to have their very own portraits taken in the same style as the Inter double-winning players were captured.
Gala Dinner attendees will also have the chance to win an Inter Opus Players Portrait box set, a large-format fine art print commemorating all of the Inter’s 2025-26 Serie A and Coppa Italia-winning team, and a prestigious dual-signed Pelè/Maradona 10×10 Opus, one of only 100 editions signed by the two football icons globally – which is also making its public debut in Malta.
As with previous Opus publications, the first copy of the Inter The Opus 118 Marquee Edition will be signed by football legends, celebrities and distinguished personalities throughout the tour before being auctioned, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to a selection of charity partners.
One of the beneficiary organisations of edition number one will be the Malta-based Save & Support Trust, which is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families across Malta and Gozo.
