Lija Athletic stalwart Beppe Antignolo has returned to the club since his stint with Malta Second Division side Kalkara.
Antignolo is the fourth most capped player at the club and will be returning as the Joseph Galea’s team will be playing in the upper echelons of local football for the fifth time in their history.
The veteran had only left the Lija club once towards Gharghur, for one season, before his move to Kalkara in 2017 where they reached promotion from the Third Division.
On his socials, Antignolo said his promise is to “continue where I left off and give my total commitment, loyalty and deciation towards the team and club”.
