Cameroon defender Ekani back at the club
Mosta FC have completed two other signings before the summer transfer window shuts on Wednesday after reaching an agreement to sign striker Bruno Vinicius Souza Medeiros and Jonas Rodrigues Ekani.
Bruno Vinicius arrives in the Maltese Premier League with an impressive CV as the Brazilian striker boasts a spell with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The 29-year-old forward spent two seasons with Real’s team in the Spanish third-tier before he moved on to Sant Andreu, Sabadel, Badalona and Formentera.
Last season, Vinicius was on the books of Hospitalet.
In his career, Vinicius made 145 appearances in the Spanish league, scoring 24 goals.
On the otherhand, Ekani is a familiar face with Mosta and Maltese football as the Cameroon defender has been plying his trade in Malta since his arrival in 2016.
In fact, after spells in Italy with Fermana, Teramo and Civitanovese he joined Mosta in 2016 before he headed to Sirens in January 2017.
Ekani returned to Mosta in 2017 but struggled to hold a regular place.
The Blues have now again brought him back to the club when he penned a one-year contract.
Ekani and Vinicius are expected to be part of Mosta’s squad for their next Premier League match against
