Ħamrun Spartans are in talks to sign Moroccan striker Mohammed Bouldini, the Times of Malta can confirm
The Spartans are in the market to find a replacement for Nigerian forward Franklin Sasere who returned to his home club Lugano after his loan spell came to an end at the end of last season.
Sources have told the Times of Malta, that the Spartans have opened negotiations to sign the 25-year-old forward and it is understood that they are hopeful of reaching an agreement in the coming days.
Bouldini started his career in Morocco where he was on the booms of Rachad Bernoussi before he moved to Raja Casablanca and Ittihad Tanger.
In 2018 he headed to Portugal where he was on the bookss of Oliveirens and Academica Coimbra.
This season Bouldini enjoyed an impressive campaign in the second-tier of Portuguese football, as he managed to score 14 goals in 29 appearances.
Should the transfer be completed, Bouldini will be the Spartans second acquisition this summer after earlier this week they announced the arrival of Estonian international Nikita Baranov.
The Estonian defender put pen to paper on a two-year contract and is expected to arrive in Malta early next week.
