Maltese youths Alexandra Gatt (photo) and Emma Ciantar Piccinino put their names on the scoresheet in Wednesday’s games from the National Football Youth League, in England.
Gatt, captain of the Malta U-19’s side started for Barking Abbey U-21’s as they hosted Arsenal WFC Oaklands College.
The former Mġarr United player contributed with a a goal and an assist as Barking Abbey drew 3-3 with Arsenal.
On the other hand, Ciantar Piccinino featured for Sunderland FoL Team A in their league game against their fellow Sunderland FoL colleagues from Team B.
Ciantar Piccinino’s side clinched a 4-0 win with the Maltese youth, also an U-19’s international, opening the score for FoL Team A.
