The Bowling Academy of Malta (BAM) has travelled with 10 youth athletes to the Netherlands where they will be competing in the highly-anticipated Brunswick Dutch Youth Masters.
Held at the prestigious Menken Bowling Center in Leiden, from September 10-17, this newly formed European Youth Bowling Tour event promises to showcase incredible talent and skill.
Among the group of bowlers representing BAM are some who will be competing abroad for the very first time.
Two of such rising stars are Jade Barbara and Mikhail Mallia, fresh off their impressive victory in the MBA Silver Cup last month in Malta.
Jade Barbara expressed her determination to give her all at the upcoming tournament.
“I am really excited because it is my first trip abroad, I am going to give it all and enjoy this experience,” Barbara said.
Ten-year-old Mikhail Mallia said:” I am going to try to maintain focus throughout each game, enjoy myself, and embrace this valuable learning experience.”
Rick Vogelesang, one of the coaches accompanying these young bowlers, couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and dedication.
“We have full faith in our talented group,” Vogelesang affirmed.
“They have trained tirelessly and are fully prepared for the challenges that await them at the Brunswick Dutch Youth Masters. We would also like to extend our gratitude to our sponsors for making this incredible journey possible with their unwavering support and an unyielding passion for bowling.”
