BOV Tazza l-Kbira finalists decided

The 15th and the 16th meeting of the season were held between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon at the Marsa Racetrack.

The major event during Friday’s programme was the Executive Security Championship final for class Silver trotters on a short distance of 2140m while Sunday’s card included the two semi-finals from the BOV Tazza l-Kbira Championship for class Premier trotters on a long distance of 2640m and the first heat from the Mediterranean Championship.

The latter was also held on a short distance.

Twelve trotters lined up for the class Silver final. Here Swedish Awesome Kronos (Noel Baldacchino) upped its pace during the last 400 metres and managed to take its third win of the year by a length from Evita d’Estree (Andrew Farrugia) and Dream Maker (Paul Galea).
