Gżira United have announced that defender Jurgen Pisani is their first addition for the upcoming 2024/2025 season.
The Maroons, who will remain under the guidance of coach Andrew Cohen, will be adding further experience to their backline.
The 31-year-old captained Sta Lucia for the past three seasons including in the previous campaign where they failed to avoid the drop to the Challenge League after their 2-2 draw with Birkirkara in their top-flight finale, last month.
In his three years at Sta Lucia, Pisani played over 80 matches in all competitions.
Previously, he was with Floriana with whom he won both the championship and the Super Cup.
Donning the Greens colours, Pisani made more than 100 appearances in domestic competitions.
