Swieqi United have announced two new players for their senior and youth women’s sides.
The first-team have been bolstered by the arrival of American player Nicola Lebakos, age 23.
Lebakos is described as a fullback but who can fill roles in the midfield department who has been part of the University of Oklahoma before moving to CSU Bakersfied in 2024.
Meanwhile, Swieqi brought in 16-year-old Eva Koneva from North Macedonia.
She has come up through the ranks of WFC Skopje and WFC Istatov, and has represented the North Macedonia U-17’s and U-19’s categories.
She will be part of the youth team who are competing in the Assikura Women’s Youth League.
