Darren Abdilla’s men will be looking to start the Closing Round on a winning note against a Naxxar Lions side who are coming from a disappointing Opening Round which saw them finish bottom of the standings and will be keen to avoid the bottom two places so they can set up a relegation play-off with other teams who finished in the last two berths of the Closing Round.
Birkirkara, runners-up in the Opening Round, will kick off their campaign with a derby against neighbours Balzan, another team desperate to avoid the bottom two places after finishing second-from-bottom in the Opening Round.
Champions Ħamrun Spartans will open the closing round with a tricky clash against Marsaxlokk and both teams will be determined to bag all three points in a bid for a top-two finish in the Closing Round.
Sliema Wanderers will be up against Żabbar St Patrcik while Melita will take on Hibernians.
The other match of Match Day One of the Closing Round will see Mosta take on Gżira United.
