Jake Fenech and Catherine Chetcuiti topped the standings at the The Lisa Maria Memorial Dingli 100 that was held on March 19.
Over 100 runners were on the starting line on the popular and demanding annual race.
AS Libertas runner Jake Fenech topped the standings when he completed the ten-mile race in a time of 58 minutes and 18 seconds.
Cutajar finished ahead of Matthew Cutajar, of St Patrick, who completed the distance in a time of 58:43 after outpacing his club team-mate Mark Pace (58:44) in a tight sprint.
In the women’s race, Chetcuti, who is on the books of Mellieħa AC, took the honours after crossing the finish line in one hour ten minutes and 13 seconds.
Veteran runner Carmen Hili, of St Patrick’s Athletic Club, placed second in 1:11.02 while Catarina Gomes placed third in a time of one hour 15 minutes and 57 seconds.
The event also hosted a 10km race and here the winner was Jean-Claude Randon. He finished the race in 35 minutes and three seconds.
Randon finished well clear of second-placed Darren Sultana who completed the distance in 39 minutes and six seconds.
St Patrick’s Athletic Club runner Antoine Abela placed third overall in 41 minutes and 47 seconds.
In the women’s category, Veronika Kersyte completed a dominant victory when she dashed home in 44 minutes and eight seconds.
Evolve Endurance Club runner Natasha Cefai placed second in 48 minutes and 15 seconds while OCA’s Joselle Borg Cardona completed the podium in 48:47.
