Last weekend, the Island Car Club organised the pivotal fourth round of the 2025 National Hillclimb Championship at Mtaħleb, limits of Rabat.
Matthew Zammit emerged as the overall winner, a testament to his skill and determination.
Zammit was closely followed by Terence Vella and Christian Azzopardi, both also putting up a commendable performance.
Joseph Calleja emerged fastest among the Four Wheel Drive competitors, while Noel Galea won the Rear Wheel Drive category, and Nicholas Micallef topped the Front Wheel Drive category.
Roberto Gauci dominated amongst the Classic cars while Sascha Blanco was the quickest among the street-legal entrants.
Whitney Hili was the fastest female competitor.
Jesmond Mangion won the veteran category for over 60 drivers, while Kyle Agius placed first in the Under 25 class, and Josef Abela won the Guest category.
As the competition heats up, we’re now halfway through the championship with the fifth round, set to take place in the picturesque island of Gozo.
