Luxol St Andrews and University of Malta will face off in Malta Futsal Premier League final

Luxol St Andrews Futsal and University of Malta Futsal will face off in a best-of-three final for the Malta Futsal Premier title.

The play-off finals are scheduled to be played late this month at the National Sports School.

In the first semi-final between Luxol St Andrews Futsal and Birżebbuġa Futsal, Birżebbuġa started strongly and managed to take the lead.

However, Luxol’s continuous pressure proved decisive, as they went on to secure a dominant 8-1 victory.

With two wins in the semi-final series, Luxol comfortably booked their place in the final once again.

The second semifinal between University of Malta Futsal and Marsaskala Futsal was far more competitive and intense.

The southern side took the lead, but the University equalised.

The match continued at a high tempo, with Marsaskala regaining the lead before the University once again responded, ending the game 2-2.

This result, combined with their first-leg victory, was enough to send the University through to the final.
