Zero Sei Futsal are playing their third final of the season, but this time they faced a strong challenge from Luxol Argus.
Zero Sei took the lead early on through a free kick by Robles. The same player continued her impressive performance by scoring her second goal, giving her team a two-goal advantage.
Luxol Argus tried to hit back and a superb long-range free kick from Zarb Cousin reduced the deficit.
The goal spurred Luxol to push more players forward, and their sustained attacking play paid off when Grech found the equaliser.
However, in the closing stages of the match, and perhaps due to excessive enthusiasm from Luxol, Robles stepped up once again to complete her hat-trick, scoring shortly after Zero Sei had conceded the equaliser.
From that moment on, Zero Sei maintained control. Although the match remained balanced, they managed to extend their lead through Csik, to seal an important victory.
The final scoreline give Zero Sei a crucial advantage ahead of the second final on May 16.
A win for Zero Sei would crown them as champions, while a victory for Luxol Argus would force a decisive third match.
