Ħamrun Spartans have announced the signing of Liberian international forward Emmanuel Ernest.
The Spartans have been working hard in the past few weeks to bolster their squad and one of their main priorities was to add more quality to their forward line.
The 25-year-old forward brings with him a strong physical presence and great work rate, besides international experience, having represented his country six times.
“Ħamrun Spartans FC announces the signing of Liberian international striker Emmanuel Ernest,” the club said in a statement.
“A powerful centre forward with experience in both African and European football, Emmanuel arrives at Ħamrun following spells abroad, most recently in Albania’s top division.
“His physical presence, work rate, and attacking qualities will further strengthen our options in the final third.
“Having also represented Liberia at international level, Emmanuel brings valuable experience and ambition as we continue building a squad capable of competing on all fronts.
“We are excited to welcome Emmanuel to the Spartans family and look forward to seeing him on the pitch.”
Among the clubs Ernest has represented in his career are FC Rapid in Romania, FC Aarau in Switzerland and most recently KF Tirana.
