Marsaxokk are expected to complete the signing of Nigerian striker Lawrence Chiedozie.
The 28-year-old last season was on the books of Pembroke Athleta and managed to score four goals in 13 appearances with the club.
Chiedozie boasts a lot of experience in Malta’s second tier as since his arrival to Malta in 2014 with Rabat Ajax he has gone on to play with several clubs including Qormi FC, Pietà Hotspurs, Marsa and Żebbug Rangers.
In all, Chiedozie has amassed 94 appearances in the Challenge League and scored 32 goals.
Chiedozie is expected to be the first signing of the southseasiders who are set to be under the charge of Pablo Doffo following the departure of Edgar Degabriele.
