The City of Valletta, in collaboration with SnwoMan, launched the first-ever NFTs (as Collectible Fan Tokens) in Malta, aimed at supporting Valletta’s sports entities.
An agreement has been reached between Matthew Carbonaro, TCM for Valletta Local Council, and Mr. Costin, representing SnwoMan.
“This partnership signifies a landmark agreement set to transform fan interactions in the capital city,” a statement said.
“Through this innovative collaboration, Valletta’s sports entities stand to benefit significantly, with proceeds from NFT sales to be shared among participating sports organizations.”
VallettaNFTs will be available for purchase locally and globally, offering a range of benefits from voting rights to complimentary tickets for Valletta’s museums, attractions, exclusive events, official merchandise, and more.
The inaugural limited edition of VallettaNFTs, accompanied by a comprehensive whitepaper, is set to be launched in the forthcoming months, marking an exciting milestone in the intersection of sports, technology, and community empowerment.
