The most remarkable result of this event was Justin Muscat’s record-breaking performance.

His rotary-powered Escort MK1 Terminator, with a 6.94-second run and a top speed of 201 mph, has officially made him Europe’s fastest rotary engine and the world’s quickest Escort Mk1.

This outstanding achievement left the audience in awe and set a new benchmark in the world of drag racing.

In addition to the thrilling race cars, the Malta Drag Racing Association invited the Malta Drifting Club and the internationally renowned Maltese precision driving team, Team Maximum Lock, to perform during the event.

These shows went well and were appreciated by the crowds at Ħal Far. The test and tune event in preparation for the fourth round of the National Drag Racing Championship is scheduled for September 14, with the Nationals to be held between September 27 and 29.
