Malta Blackball Christmas tournaments underway

The Malta Blackball Christmas tournament kicks off on Monday.

Eight teams booked a place in the Community Christmas Trophy organised by the Malta Blackball Association after beating their respective opponents.

In fact, Selmun Bar C, Valletta Fossa Boys, PL Balzan A, Di Santos Qormi, Taċ-Ċaċċu Qormi, Juve Birkirkara B, Jojo’s Birżebbuġa B, and PN Mġarr all had successful outcomes in their respective matches.

Meanwhile, the quarter-finals will be contested on a home-and-away basis between Monday and Tuesday with these fixtures:

Selmun Bar C vs Taċ-Ċaċċu Qormi

Valletta Fossa Boys vs Juve Birkirkara B

PL Balzan A vs Jojo’s Birżebbuġa B

Di Santos Qormi vs PN Mġarr

In the Regional Christmas Trophy’s preliminary round, Ħamrun 147 C and Mosta St Mary’s A obtained the qualification to the last eight as they saw off Birkirkara Duke’s A (21-16) and Birkirkara Boċċi (21-3)

Even here, the matches will be played between Monday and Tuesday with these fixtures:
