Bowling Academy Malta levels up with new high-tech system

Bowling Academy Malta has acquired a new advanced video motion analysis system, set to transform how its bowlers and coaches train and improve. The initiative, funded through the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector,

The Small Initiatives Scheme and the Government of Malta promise to elevate the sport to new heights on the island.

This new system is a game-changer, capable of capturing high-resolution video and employing analysis software for automated evaluation.

The BAM coaches will be able to detect subtle biomechanical inefficiencies and potential injury risks.

The system will deliver visual feedback with personalised training plans to bowlers, and objectively track their progress over time. Additionally, it will optimise training programs tailored to specific goals such as direction, speed, and release power.

This technology is expected to have a significant impact, enhancing athletic performance, reducing the incidence of injuries, and increasing athlete engagement.
