Flyers made it two wins in a row in the John Bugeja Cup after overcoming Birkirkara at the Cottoners Sports Complex.
It was a solid victory for the Flyers, who had to come from a set down as Birkirkara were off to a flyer, taking the opener 25-21.
However, Flyers kept their composure and quickly levelled the match when they took the second set 25-18.

The match remained evenly balanced with Flyers taking a tight third set 26-24 before sealing the game when securing the third set 25-22.
This was the Flyers’ second win in the competition, when in the previous weekend they had overcome Paola Executive Security in another balanced encounter.
The John Bugeja Cup will continue next weekend when Flyers take on Swieqi Phoenix Nium while Paola Executive Security face Birkirkara
