The futsal championships continued with another week filled with tension and excitement, as Zero Sei Futsal in the women’s division dropped their first points of the season, while Santa Venera Lightnings earned their first point in a dramatic match that was decided in the final action of the game.
Men’s League
Santa Venera Lightnings Futsal claimed their first point after a 3–3 draw against Sliema Futsal Fort Fitness, with the decisive last-second equaliser scored by Colombian player Jimenez Martinez Jonathan Jose.
It was an important result for Santa Venera, while Sliema suffered a setback in their push to remain among the top five.
GŻR Birżebbuġa St Peter’s Futsal moved level at the top of the table with University of Malta Futsal after a dominant 5–0 victory over Futsal Selection U19.
The match was controlled largely in the second half, with five different players on the scoresheet, four of them scoring after the interval.
Luxol St Andrews Futsal extended their positive run of results with a 3-2 win over Marsaskala Futsal Legends.
Despite leading 3-0, Luxol were put under heavy pressure as Marsaskala almost completed a full comeback, but the St Andrews side held on until the end.
Meanwhile, Żejtun Corinthians Futsal WA earned a comfortable 10–5 victory over Futsal Selection U17, with Abuaisha Nezar Fawzi starring for Żejtun thanks to a hat-trick.

Women’s League
Zero Sei Futsal remain at the top of the standings despite dropping their first points of the campaign in a 2-2 draw against Luxol Sports Club Futsal Argus.
Jasmine Vella Turner was the standout performer for Luxol, scoring both of her team’s goals.
Swieqi United Futsal LEC07 defeated Parr Mela Rockets Futsal 5-3 after taking an early lead. Parr Mela attempted to fight back, but they were unable to find enough goals to secure their first points of the season.
St George’s Futsal claimed a comfortable 4–0 victory against St Andrews Futsal, scoring twice in each half to seal a straightforward win for the Bormla side.
