Paola Executive Security, Swieqi Phoenix Nium and Falcons progress in National Cup

Paola Executive Security players celebrate their win in the National Cup.

The Malta Volleyball Association season continued the 2023-24 season with matches from the National Cup at the Cottonera Sports Complex.

Paola Executive Security, Swieqi Phoenix Nium, and Falcons enjoyed a winning start to the cup competition.

Paola Executive Security broke little sweat to overcome the challenge of Division One side Depiro 3-0 on Saturday.

The following day it was the turn of Swieqi Phoenix Nium who stormed past Flyers 3-0.

Swieqi Phoenix Nium overcame the challenge of Flyers in the National Cup.

The final match of the weekend pitted against each other Falcons and Division One side Mġarr and in the end, it was the former who secured a commanding 3-0 victory.

The women’s Super League will now return next weekend when Birkirkara VC take on Falcons on Sunday.

U-19 League: Paola Maypole vs BKVC Vixens 1-3; BKVC Sirens vs Swieqi Tough Cookies 0-3.

National Cup: Depiro vs Paola Executive Security 0-3; Flyers vs Swieqi Phoenix NIUM 0-3; Mġarr vs Falcons 0-3.

U15 League: Depiro vs Flyers 3-0; Paola Maypole vs BKVC Dynamites 2-3; Swieqi Phoenix Young Stars vs BKVC Blazers 3-0; Swieqi Phoenix Volley Maniacs vs Swieqi Phoenix Ninjas 0-3.
